This policy explains what personal data vitalcureinsight.com collects, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. The site is operated by Ashish Mitra, India. You can reach us at health@vitalcureinsight.com.
What we collect
Comments
When you leave a comment we collect the name, email address and website you enter in the form, together with your IP address and browser user-agent string. The IP address and user agent are used for spam detection. An anonymised hash of your email address may be sent to the Gravatar service to check whether you have a profile picture; Gravatar’s privacy policy is at automattic.com/privacy. After your comment is approved, your profile picture is visible to the public alongside it.
Contact form
When you use the contact form we receive the name, email address and message you send, so that we can reply to you. We keep these messages for as long as they are relevant to your enquiry.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how many people visit the site, which articles they read, and roughly where they come from. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes data including your IP address, device and browser. See Google’s privacy policy. You can opt out across all sites using Google’s browser add-on.
Advertising
We intend to display advertising served by Google AdSense. Once that begins, Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can manage ad personalisation in your Google Ad Settings.
Server logs
Our hosting provider keeps standard access logs, including IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles may include embedded content such as videos. Embedded content behaves exactly as if you had visited that other website, and those websites may collect data about you and set their own cookies.
Cookies
If you leave a comment you may opt in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies, so that you do not have to fill them in again. These last one year. Analytics and advertising cookies are described above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though parts of the site may not work as well if you do.
Who we share data with
We do not sell your personal data. It is processed by the services we use to run the site: our hosting provider, Google (Analytics, and AdSense once active), Gravatar, and our anti-spam service, which checks comments automatically.
How long we keep it
Comments and their metadata are kept indefinitely, so that follow-up comments from the same person can be recognised and approved automatically. Contact-form messages are kept while they remain relevant to your enquiry.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, except where we are required to keep it. Email health@vitalcureinsight.com. If you have left comments, you can ask for them to be removed.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
